Malichor, a Black/Thrash Metal band from Melbourne, Australia, was formed in 2007 under the name Myth by Dean aka D. Defiler and Roman aka R. Morturus following the dissolution of their previous group Anarazel. The band initially included Andrew “A. Abominatus” Allen on guitar. After releasing two demos, Malichor changed its name to Malichor in 2011, with Brad “B. Exhumus” Ollis and Ben aka B. Fleshripper joining as guitarist and bassist respectively. Their first release under the new name was the EP Lurkers in the Crypt (2012). The band released several EPs including Ancient Brew (2013) and their debut album, The Lost City (2014), which compiled older material. In 2018, Malichor released their second full-length album, Nightmares and Abominations, under Iron, Blood & Death Corporation. Singles include "Ride as One" (2014) and "The Serum" (2014).
