NEW SINGLE "GAS STATION" OUT NOW
Originally from Rouen, Hugo and Lucien come from two seemingly distinct worlds. One forged a cold, misty techno built for sleepless nights; his project Brook Line led him to the Printemps de Bourges and the Transmusicales in Rennes. The other carried his guitars and synths through projects ranging from feverish post-punk to psychedelic outbursts. After months of experimentation and a journey both physical and dreamlike in Australia, the duo La Dispatch was born.
Citing influences like Suicide, New Order, or Sleaford Mods, these childhood friends follow a clear line: the groove and radical energy of the UK scene, the dark rigor of new wave, and the airy lightness of psychedelia — music that strikes hard but also makes you dream.
Recently, Philomène from Delilah’s Dance joined them on stage. Her elegant, evolving melodic lines enrich the sound and open new horizons.
