Muni Long

Priscilla Renea Hamilton, born September 14 1988 in Gifford, Florida, emerged as a singer‑songwriter under her birth name before adopting the stage name Muni Long in 2019. She first captured attention on YouTube, posting covers that led to a 2009 contract with Capitol Records and the release of her debut album Jukebox on December 1, 2009, preceded by the single "Dollhouse". After a decade of writing chart‑topping hits for artists such as Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, and Kelly Clarkson, she returned to recording with the self‑released album Coloured on June 22, 2018. In 2021, "Hrs & Hrs" became a sleeper hit, reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, earned her a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance, and attracted a deal with Def Jam Recordings. The track also served as the lead single for her third album Public Displays of Affection: The Album, released September 23, 2022, which entered the Billboard 200.
