JNS, originally known as Jeans, is a Mexican pop group formed in Mexico City in late 1994. The group was initially composed of Paty Sirvent, Angie Taddei, Litzy, Tábatha Vizuet, and Bianca Carrasco. Before the release of their debut album, Carrasco left the group, marking the first of many lineup changes throughout the group's history. Notable members have included Patricia Sirvent, Karla Díaz-Leal Arreguín, Melissa López, Regina Murguía, Dulce María, and Litzy. Jeans gained popularity with their debut album, Jeans, released in 1996, featuring hits like "Pepe" and "Me Pongo Mis Jeans." The group's early success was driven by their catchy teenage pop tunes and their ability to connect with a young audience. Their second album, ¿Por Qué Disimular?, released in 1998, continued their momentum, earning a gold certification. In the early 2000s, the group released several more albums, including Tr3s.Jeans (1999) and Cuarto Para Las Cuatro (2001), which featured popular tracks like "Dime Que Me Amas" and "Entre Azul y Buenas Noches." Despite lineup changes, the group maintained a strong fan base and continued to release music. After disbanding in 2008, the group reunited in 2015 under the name Jeans and released the live album Déjà Vu, sparking a successful reunion tour. In 2017, they officially rebranded as JNS and released Metamorfosis, an album featuring covers of 1990s and 2000s hits. Consisting of Angie Taddei, Melissa López, and Regina Murguía, JNS remains active in the pop scene, participating in tours like the 90’s Pop Tour alongside OV7, Caló, The Sacados, and Kabah. In 2024, the trio released the radio hit single "Europa," which received heavy airplay in Mexican radio.
