House Vs Hurricane, an Australian post-hardcore band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2006. The group initially gained national attention by winning the 2008 Battle of the Bands competition and subsequently released their first EP, Forfeiture (2008), through El Shaddai Records. In January 2010, House Vs Hurricane signed with Shock Records and released their debut studio album, Perspectives (2010). Their second studio album, Crooked Teeth, was released in 2012 and peaked at number 20 on the ARIA Charts. The band announced their breakup in June 2013 but reunited for various performances in July 2014. In January 2017, they performed at the Unify Festival and released their third studio album, Filth (2017).
