Juha Eirto, born on December 21, 1934, in Helsinki, Finland, was a Finnish singer. The son of singer Erkki Eirto and actress Liisa Säilä, Eirto's early career saw him become a prominent figure in Finnish popular music during the 1950s. His breakthrough came with hits like "Tiikerihai" and "Venezuela", which became classics in Finland. From 1960 onwards, he transitioned to singing as part of opera choruses, stepping away from direct public performances. Eirto also recorded tangos and released his last known recording "Jansson soittaa hanuria" from the album Tanssiaiset risteilijällä in 1979. In addition to his music career, Eirto acted in films such as Majuri maantieltä (1954). He passed away on May 3, 2011, in Sipoo, Finland.
