Håkon Storm, born Håkon Storm-Mathisen on March 13, 1967 in Oslo, Norway, is a jazz musician known for his work as a guitarist. After graduating from the Foss Upper Secondary School's music program, he moved to Copenhagen for formal education at the Rhythmic Conservatory. Returning to Oslo in 1992, Storm-Mathisen began performing in local clubs and hosted jams at the Oslo Jazzhus in 1993. He collaborated with various artists, including Tore Brunborg, Finn Guttormsen, Jarle Vespestad, Jacob Young, and Beate S. Lech. His debut album Canned Second was released in 2004. He later contributed compositions to Matsukaze (2006) with The Livin’ Jazz Orchestra, followed by Zinober (2012). Storm-Mathisen has also performed extensively in Japan and Serbia.
