The group’s name reflects Matthew 28:19 and the church’s focus on spreading the Gospel, discipleship, prayer, worship, and biblical teaching. Its recorded catalog began in 2024 with the live single “God of Impossible,” released through 2819 Church and built around a long-form worship format rather than a conventional radio edit. In 2026, 2819 Worship entered a wider industry phase when Reach Records announced the signing of 2819 Church’s worship collective, marking the label’s first worship signing after years of work in Christian hip-hop. The move was followed by For Christ Alone, a 13-minute live worship recording released through Reach Records. The song became the collective’s breakout track, debuting at number 33 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and drawing from themes connected to Matthew 24:30 and Colossians 1:18.
