The Radiators from Space, an Irish punk rock band, was formed in 1976. The group underwent several name changes before settling on their final moniker. Philip Chevron joined after responding to a newspaper ad placed by Pete Holidai, who initially founded the group under various names including Greta Garbage and the Trashcans. In 1976, they signed with Chiswick Records and released their single "Television Screen" in 1977, which reached Number 1 on the British Alternative Charts and number 17 in Ireland. Their first album, TV Tube Heart, was released in 1977. The band's second album, Ghosttown, produced by Tony Visconti, was released in 1979. The Radiators from Space disbanded in March 1981 but reunited in 1987-1989 and 2003-2013. Philip Chevron passed away in 2013 and the remaining members continued as Trouble Pilgrims.
