Kapasiteettiyksikkö was a Finnish rap group formed in 1997. They recorded their first demo at Fintelligens' studio in autumn 1999 and signed with Warner Music Finland, releasing their debut single "Etenee" in 2000, which reached the Top 10 on the official Finnish singles chart. Their first album Päivästtoiseen was released in 2001, featuring collaborations such as Norwegian rapper Diaz on "A-ay!". The group's subsequent albums included Klassikko (2002), which featured the hit single "Tää on mun Stadi", and Itsenäisyyspäivä (2003). Kapasiteettiyksikkö co-founded the independent label Rähinä Records with some members of Fintelligens in 2003 and continued to release successful singles such as "Pakko saada sut" which remained in the Top 10 of the singles chart for eight weeks. In 2004, they released Usko Parempaan, followed by Susijengi in 2006. The group disbanded in 2008, releasing their final album, I ♥ KY, in April of that year.
