Steve Porter, born in 1978 in Amherst, Massachusetts, is an American music video producer, remixer, and DJ. He began producing music while attending Williston Northampton School and was discovered by Chris Fortier in 1999, leading to his signing with Fade Records. Porter released his first EP The Launch Ep in 1999, followed by several releases including Homegrown EPs #1 & #2 (2004) and Steve Porter Presents Porterhouse (2006). He toured extensively as a DJ throughout North America, Asia, and Europe, performing at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Coachella. In 2009, Porter placed second in the DJ Times America's Best DJ poll. That same year, he founded Porterhouse Media, an audio/visual marketing company known for creating viral videos.
