Born in 2022 from the meeting between Joachim Baumerder on violin and Simon Lacouture on drums, marta is a live techno duo that brings the energy of the club into a fully live performance. Their approach is built on a deliberately stripped down setup: violin, drums, pedals, and a few pads, in service of physical, repetitive music designed for the dancefloor, where the organic constantly interacts with the codes of techno.
With their debut EP ROOM, marta introduced a direct and radical sound, quickly establishing a strong musical identity. The duo developed a singular live approach, resolutely club oriented.
In 2026, marta enters a new chapter with the release of their EP PUSH on April 24.
