The Fading, a thrash metal band from Tel Aviv, Israel, was formed in 2003 under the name Excessum. After several line-up changes, they released their first EP Instruction for Self Destruction in 2005 and changed their name to The Fading in 2006. Their breakthrough came in 2008 when they won the Wacken Metal Battle, securing a record deal with Wacken Records. The following year, they recorded their debut album In Sin We’ll Find Salvation at Abyss Studio, which was produced by Pelle Saether and released on August 1, 2009. In 2015, the band released their second full-length album Till Life Do Us Part.
