Shin Jiyoon (신지윤), also known by her stage names Yoonie and Swan, is a South Korean independent singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, and DJ. Born on March 2, 2002 in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, she first gained public attention in 2017 as a contestant on the survival show MIXNINE, representing FAVE Entertainment. In 2018, she was introduced as a member of the pre-debut group FAVEGIRLS, which later became the girl group Weeekly. Debuting with We Are in June 2020, Jiyoon showcased her talents until her departure in June 2022 due to health reasons. Re-emerging in 2024 under the name Yoonie, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Yellow Light". She later adopted the stage name Swan, inspired by the transformation of an "ugly duckling into a beautiful swan," reflecting her artistic and personal growth. Expanding her creative identity, she also began performing as DJ Swan. Her music journey continued with releases like "Madagascar" and "Did You Love Me?" in 2024 and 2025, the latter accompanied by fan-driven visual campaigns. In 2025, she affirmed Shin Jiyoon as her official singer name, maintaining Swan as a symbolic part of her evolving artistry.
