Hand of Mercy, an Australian hardcore band from Sydney, was formed in 2007 by guitarist Adam Mclean and drummer Josh Zimmer. They released the EP Trash the Party in 2007, followed by Scum of the Earth in 2008. In 2010, they played at the annual Resist Records Sydney Hardcore Festival. Notable albums include The Fallout (2010) and Last Lights (2012), which peaked at number 44 on the Australian Albums Chart. In 2014, they released Resolve. The band announced their disbandment after a final show on January 30, 2016, at Sydney's Strike Hard Festival.
