New single "Devotion Song" is out
Created in 2016 by Bordeaux-based artist Emeline Marceau (Génial au Japon, Pyramid Kiwi, Fils.), ROSELAND draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of pop, rock, and electronic music history (M83, Radiohead, St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Portishead). Her songs, whether luminous or more melancholic, are always built around elegant melodies. She delivers a kind of modern synth-rock at the crossroads of atmospheres, where her voice—sometimes fragile, sometimes bold—whispers as much as it sweeps away through pop choruses, heavy basslines, and nervy or reverb-soaked guitars. After To Save What is Left (2020) and Unsaid Words (2022), her third album, Beyond the Usual, is expected by the end of 2025.
