MAAD is an American singer, songwriter, DJ, and curator whose artistry spans genres and mediums. Influenced by her father’s musical roots and her mother’s stylistic flair, she’s collaborated with artists like Kelis, Aluna, MNEK, Janelle Monáe, Luke James, and Lakeith Stanfield, building a reputation as a powerhouse performer with projects such as Lè Funk (2017), Technicolor (2018), and Eventually Pt. 1 (2020).
As an in-demand DJ, MAAD has worked with Dior, Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, NET-A-PORTER, Spotify, Alo, Laura Mercier, and Hulu, with sets that have lit up events from Cannes Lions—opening for Nas, Swizz Beatz, Bebe Rexha, and Tove Lo—to the Greek Theatre, where she opened for Tinashe. Known for her ability to seamlessly blend genres and create unforgettable energy, her DJ work reflects a deep connection to music and culture.
In 2020, MAAD teamed up with longtime collaborator Raleigh to form RM47, an Alt-Electro R&B duo celebrated for their genre-blurring sound and striking visuals. Their debut album Stuck With You But I Like It set the tone, and their latest project, CYBER (2025), is a raw, cinematic exploration of overstimulation, burnout, and emotional release, earning them festival spots at Coachella, Shabang, and Everyday People.
