Gleichlaufschwankung, a punk band formed in 1997 in Halle, Germany, consisted of members Andre Zobel, Cobra, Fitze, Geralf Pochop, Oli, Rio, and Schnitzel. The group's music spanned classical punk-rock, ska, and techno, often incorporating the Saxon-Anhalt dialect and ironically humorous lyrics. Their debut album, Punks verstehen keinen Spaß!!!, was released in 2001. Subsequent albums include Gleichlaufschwankung/Faunamok: Strahlenparty/Der Bär groovt (2003), Ethno Punx (2007), and Grenzüberschreitungen (2013). The band's discography also included the compilation Gleichlaufschwankung / Faunamok – Der Bär groovt zur Strahlenparty mit Scheiss Bier (2008) and videos such as "Kotz in Schrank" (2009) and "Pogen für den Weltfrieden" (2010).
