Good Heavens was an Australian indie rock band from Sydney. The group consisted of Sarah Kelly (vocals), formerly of the Red Sun Band, and musicians Chris Ross (bass and keyboards) and Myles Heskett (drums), both formerly of Wolfmother. Kelly approached Julia Wilson of the label Rice Is Nice to record a new album. Wilson suggested Heskett, who recruited Ross. The band released the single “It's Not Easy Being Mean” in July 2012. Their debut album, Strange Dreams, was released in August 2012 via Rice Is Nice and Inertia Records. Douglas Fry of The Sydney Morning Herald described the record as a blend of psychedelic and power rock. In March 2013, Good Heavens performed at the Boogie 7 festival in Tallarook. Heskett and Ross provided a songwriting workshop in May 2013. The band became inactive in 2013.
