Formed in 2008 amid a resurgence of folk bands, You and You, led by singer and guitarist Félix Perez, recorded several self-produced tracks, including the EP Songs , released in 2009, before signing a contract with the PIAS label. It was on this label that the track "Bye Bye" was released in 2013, and the album Keep It Safe the following year.
