What I’m doing isn't just music; I am simply telling the story of the wound in my heart.
I am a child of an ordinary family from the outskirts, growing up as one of five siblings in the dust and soil of the streets. We never had much wealth; our summers were spent in the village. I have personally experienced both the culture of the city's edge and the life of the countryside, having done almost every kind of work. I am a somewhat introverted person, an idealist with few friends who finds peace in solitude, paying meticulous attention to every detail and always striving to do my very best in whatever I undertake.
When I was young, working at a photo studio, I used to write poems on the black surfaces of burnt photo cards. Many years have passed, and I don’t know what spark reignited it, but I’ve started writing again—only now, computers and phones have taken the place of those old photo cards. After seeing songs and videos created virtually, I thought, 'Why shouldn't I?' and here I am.
As Cilazoglu, I stand for digital honesty. With my song 'Our Emotions are Real,' I tell the story of my personal awakening, stretching from dusty suburban alleys to virtual tones. My production tools may be virtual, but the life experiences and heartaches behind them are profoundly real. I invite those lost in the monotonous cycle of the modern world to rediscover the sleeping giant within, with the sincerity of a digital bard. The sound is digital, but the emotions are ancient. What I’m doing isn't just music; I am simply telling the story of the wound in my heart.
