Stacy Mitchhart, born on February 16, 1959 in the United States of America, is a blues guitarist who began his professional career in Cincinnati, Ohio. He gained widespread attention playing the club circuit there in the early 1990s. In 1996, he moved to Nashville and became the house band at the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar in Printer's Alley. Mitchhart received the Albert King Most Promising Guitarist Award at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in 2003. His album Gotta Get the Feeling Back Again (2007) was considered for a Grammy Award in 2008. In addition to his musical career, Stacy Mitchhart is also a luthier, crafting cigar box guitars that he plays and sells to support his wife's charity. He was inducted into the South Canadian Blues Hall Of Fame in 2016.
