Cosima De Vito, born 1 November 1976 in Perth, Western Australia, is an Australian pop and urban pop singer whose career began with early talent‑quest victories at age nine. After withdrawing from Australian Idol in 2003 due to throat nodules, she independently released the double A‑side single "When the War Is Over" / "One Night Without You" in 2004, which debuted at Number 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and earned a platinum certification. That same year she issued her self‑titled debut album Cosima, which entered the ARIA Albums Chart at Number 2, was certified gold, and topped the independent charts. In 2007 she released her second studio album This Is Now, featuring the singles "Keep It Natural" and "Movin' On"; although the album did not chart, the single achieved moderate club success. Cosima has collaborated with songwriter Diane Warren in Los Angeles and performed internationally, including at the Melbourne Cup and the NBL All‑Stars game. Her continued activity includes touring Australia, releasing the single "Right Here, Right Now" in 2012, and a 2023 cover of "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You" with Greg Gould, maintaining her presence in the Australian pop scene.
