DJ Skitz is a British disc jockey and producer born in 1970 in Cambridgeshire. Skitz achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began in 1991. His recording career began with the song "“Where My Mind Is At”" (1996) featuring the musician Roots Manuva. Skitz achieved professional recognition for the song "“Fingerprints of the Gods”" (1998) which was the only British track to appear in the top ten list of the magazine Hip Hop Connection. He achieved professional recognition for the song "“Dedication”" (2000) which received the award for Best Single at the UK Hip Hop Awards. His discography included the debut studio recording Countryman (2001) which received the award for best UK Hip Hop album. Skitz achieved professional recognition for co-presenting the radio program Original Fever (2002–2007) on BBC Radio 1Xtra. His recording career included the studio recording Badmeaningood Vol. 1 (2002), the studio recording Homegrown Volume 1 (2004), and the studio recording Homegrown Volume 2 (2005). Skitz achieved professional recognition for founding the label Titan Sounds and the studio recording Sticksman (2010).
