Shaun Kirk, born in 1988 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is an independent Australian soul and blues singer, songwriter, and musician. He started playing guitar at 16 and wrote his first song during a hospital stay. Kirk began performing at local blues jam nights across Melbourne, transitioning from folk to blues. His debut album Cruisin' (2010) won 'Best Debut Album' at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society's annual VIC/TAS Blues Music Awards. Subsequent albums include Thank You for Giving Me the Blues (2011) and Steer the Wheel (2014), which debuted at Number 1 on the Australian Blues iTunes Charts. Notable songs include "Stitches" and "Give to the Needy".
