Siloah was a German underground band from Munich, active from 1970 to 1972. The group formed in a commune in Allach, driven by Thom Argauer, who played multiple instruments and was registered with GEMA. In 1970, Siloah released their debut LP Siloah, handling production independently, followed by a summer 1971 concert at Burg Rötteln. The original lineup disbanded later that year. Argauer reformed Siloah in 1972 with Florian Laber and Markus Krug, releasing the LP Sukram Gurk. Both albums have gained cult status among collectors, with original pressings valued at a high price. Post-Siloah, Argauer worked as an art teacher until his death on March 12, 1999.
