Waterflame

Christian Mejlænder Krogsvold, known professionally as Waterflame, was born on February 26, 1989, in Oslo, Norway. He is a self-taught composer specializing in video game soundtracks, breakbeat, and electronic dance music. Krogsvold's musical journey began at the age of 13 in 2002 when he started composing music in his free time. His early works were shared on Newgrounds, where he gained traction with animations and musical pieces like JumpyStompLoop (2004), which was later licensed for use in the game MecaPumble (2005). In 2008, Waterflame composed music for Castle Crashers, marking a significant breakthrough in his career. He released his debut album, Green, on October 11, 2009. Over the years, Krogsvold has contributed to numerous video game soundtracks, including Geometry Dash and CastleStorm. His compositions have been featured in multiple games, showcasing his versatility and skill in creating engaging electronic music for various platforms.
