Josef Salvat

Born in Sydney in 1988, Australian Josef Salvat is a composer and electro-pop singer whose universe oscillates between Lana Del Rey and Gotye. After studying law, he devoted himself to music and was soon approached by producer Rich Cooper (Razorlight, Mystery Jets), who took him in hand. September 2014 saw the release of the In Your Time EP, which garnered some attention on the internet. The momentum accelerated when his cover of Rihanna's hit "Diamonds " was chosen for a Sony brand advertising campaign. Her version went on to reach No. 2 in the French charts. The singles "Hustler" and "Open Season" (ranked No. 10) followed, before the October 2015 release of the debut album Night Swim, featuring all her singles and a new track, "Paradis (Le Paradis nous trouvera)", partially sung in French.
