Dave Couse, born in 1965, is an Irish singer. He formed his first band, Last Chance, with schoolmates from Templeogue College. The disintegration of Last Chance led to the formation of A House, where Couse served as lead vocalist and main songwriter. Their earliest recorded appearance was on Live at the Underground (UK, 1986), followed by their first single "Kick Me Again Jesus" in 1987. A House released five albums, including I Want Too Much (1990). The band disbanded in 1997 following a farewell concert at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Couse's solo career began with Genes (2003), followed by The World Should Know (2005) under the moniker Dave Couse and The Impossible. Notable achievements include nominations for "Best Album" and "Best Irish Male" at the 2006 Meteor Awards.
