Rodney McCormack (born February 13, 1963), known professionally as Rod McCormack, was an Australian country music producer, songwriter, and musician from Central Coast, New South Wales. McCormack began his career as a guitarist and performed as a member of the band the Wheel between 1995 and 1999. McCormack produced albums for artists including Gina Jeffreys, Paul Kelly, Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Harvey, and Beccy Cole. He wrote over 30 Number 1 country hits and was named Country Music Awards of Australia Producer of the Year in 2004, 2008, and 2010. His work also received CMAA awards for Instrumental of the Year in 1995, 1996, and 2020, and Album of the Year on five occasions between 2002 and 2012. In September 2019, McCormack released his first solo studio album, Fingerprints.
