In 1997, Olivier Gann met Francis Cabrel.
In 2001, he joined the Cargo Records label with his “cargo of precious stones,” performing at L’Européen and the Zénith de Paris as the opening act for Isabelle Boulay. Energy, good humor, and authenticity.
In 2004, he released his second album Instantané, with Brice Homs, Olivier Dodanne, and Nérac.
In 2005, Olivier toured across France: Olympia and the Zénith d'Orléans as the opening act for Francis Cabrel, several dates with Michael Jones, and appearances on France Inter with Stéphane Bern.
In 2007, he wrote and produced the album À l’Ouest with Nérac, in collaboration with Philippe Barret.
In 2010 came the release of Les éoliennes, with musicians from Nicolas Peyrac and Patrick Boileau.
In 2013, Les sourires en plastique featured Christophe Renault, who wrote 9 songs.
In 2014, the band En Passant brought together former musicians of Jean-Jacques Goldman and performed numerous concerts.
From 2015 to 2017, Olivier toured France in duo, trio, quartet, or alongside Nicolas Peyrac, performing around 80 concerts per year.
In 2018–2019, he collaborated with Yves Jaget on several albums including Les acoustiques improvisées by Nicolas Peyrac and Les siphonnées du bonheur by Christophe Renault.
In 2020, En Passant resumed touring across France.
