Toni Collette & The Finish was an Australian band fronted by Toni Collette, an actress, singer, and songwriter, and included Dave Galafassi on drums, Glenn Richards on guitar, Pete Farley on bass, David Lane on piano/keys, and Amanda Brown as a multi-instrumentalist. Their debut album Beautiful Awkward Pictures was released in 2006 under Hoola Hoop Records. The band embarked on extensive tours across Australia from late 2006 to early 2007, with sold-out venues and positive receptions. Notable performances included a secret show at The Vanguard in Newtown and the Australian leg of Live Earth concert in Sydney on July 7, 2007, where they headlined alongside Wolfmother, Crowded House, Jack Johnson, and Missy Higgins. Toni Collette & The Finish received an AIR Award nomination for Most Outstanding New Independent Artist.
