Michael James Hart, known as Mick Hart, was born on May 8, 1970, in Australia, and was a singer-songwriter. He began his music career with the release of his EP Release in 1997. His debut album, Still the Flowers Bloom, was released in March 2001 and peaked at number 88 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album was produced by Jim Moginie of Midnight Oil. Hart's second album, Upside Down in the Full Face of Optimism, was nominated for Best Blues & Roots Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2002. His subsequent albums include No Compromise (2004) and several EPs including Kill Yourself For Love (1999). Mick Hart died on August 23, 2020.
