On paper Mr Bruce's music and performance really shouldn't work. Hyper Pop, Glitch Pop, Art Pop, rattling amen breaks, anthemic dancehall, ambient death meditations. His body of work extends in many directions, but retains coherency through Mr Bruce's distinctive voice and approach to subject matter. His music is designed for turbulent times where the need to dance, grieve and seek solace has never been more urgent.
