The Oddities, a Canadian rap group from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 1998 when two rap groups, Awkward Why? and Dynasty, merged. The group included members Bookworm, J-StaRRRrrr!!!, Sny-Whip, JSN JNS, Psy, and Wysper. In their early years, the Oddities released several collaborative projects, including the 1996 EP Alpha Flight and the 1997 maxi-single Sprawl Xtreme: False Teeth. The group's debut
"family" album, The Scenic Route, was produced by Bookworm and released on Battleaxe Records in 2003. Over the years, various individuals contributed to the group, such as Kenny Neal (aka Bounce), Paul (aka Change), Naterrell, Retro Mosquito, and Bodible Oddities dancers Glizzii & Three (pka Daze). The Oddities also performed at CBC Radio 3's Just Concerts in 2003 and appeared on Jacked Surfing DVD Muskoka Militia Vol. II in 2004.
