Masakazu Mori, known professionally as Yukinojo Mori, was born on January 14, 1954, in Tokyo, Japan. He is a lyricist and composer. Inspired by David Bowie's performance at Shibuya Public Hall in 1973, he adopted the stage name "Yukinojo," inspired by kabuki theater. Mori made his professional songwriting debut with "Drift no Bye no Bye no Bye" for The Drifters in 1976. He wrote his first anime themes the following year for Manga Hajimete Monogatari. Throughout his career, Mori contributed to numerous notable projects, including theme songs for Dragon Ball Z such as "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" and "We Gotta Power", and for Kinnikuman. He also penned lyrics for X Japan members hide and Heath. In 1997, he released the album Tenshi no Ita Wakusei, followed by Poetic Evolution in 1999.
