Phantom was a South Korean hip-hop trio formed by Brand New Music, consisting of members Kiggen, Sanchez, and Hanhae. The group debuted in 2011 and quickly gained attention for their unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and pop elements. Before officially debuting, Phantom released a number of digital singles, including the track "Hole in Your Face", which became controversial due to its provocative lyrics but helped them gain popularity. Their first official release, Phantom City (2012), showcased their musical versatility and strong lyrical content, earning them a solid fanbase. Phantom's debut studio album, Phantom Power, was released in 2014, featuring hits like "Seoul Lonely", which showcased their ability to mix smooth vocals with rap. Despite their early success, Phantom disbanded in 2017 as members pursued solo careers. Throughout their time together, the group was praised for their distinct sound and lyrical depth, carving a unique niche within the Korean hip-hop and R&B genres.
