Reijirō Koroku, born on December 13, 1949 in Okayama, Japan, was a composer known for his versatile contributions to various forms of media. Koroku studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and began his career as a composer and arranger. His works spanned a wide range of compositions for operas, songs, theater pieces, video games, and television and film productions. Koroku's notable soundtracks include Godzilla (1984) and Gekido no 1750 nichi (1990), for which he was nominated for Best Film Composer at the Japanese Academy Awards in 1991.
