Martin Zingsheim, born on March 2, 1984, in Cologne, Germany, is a comedian and musician. He studied musicology at the University of Cologne from 2005 to 2010, earning a doctorate focusing on Karlheinz Stockhausen's intuitive music. He began his career as a pianist, singer, and composer for the cabaret program Bundeskabarett, performing in over 100 shows nationwide from 2006 to 2010. His breakthrough came in October 2011 when he won three cabaret awards within three days. He released the audio CD Der Titel ist egal (2013), and followed it with Eltern haften an ihren Kindern (2016). He moderated the DLF show Zingsheim braucht Gesellschaft, which blends cabaret and music. His notable achievements include winning the Troubadour Hauptpreis in 2011 and the Chansongfest Heidelberg in 2013.
