The Brass Action was a Canadian six-piece independent band from Vancouver, British Columbia. Formed in 2007, the group initially released several EPs before compiling them into Making Waves in 2013. The album featured tracks like "The Devil Down Below" and "11:34 (Hell O'Clock)", which were later included in the 2014 film Horns. Their second album, No Soundcheck, was released in 2015. Their third album, Brouhaha, was released in 2019. The Brass Action supported notable acts such as The Planet Smashers and Mad Caddies. The band performed at the Victoria Ska Festival in 2014. Their music was featured on various compilation albums, including Skaface: Evolution and Pacific Sound System.
