The Sloths were a garage rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1964. Their debut single "Makin' Love" b/w "You Mean Everything to Me", released in 1965 by Impression Records, marked their entry into the music scene. The band became known for performing at venues like Pandora's Box and the Whisky a Go Go alongside influential acts such as the Doors and Love. They disbanded in 1966 when Jeff Briskin left to attend law school. Their lone single gained renewed interest after appearing on the Back from the Grave compilation series in 1984. In 2015, The Sloths released an album titled Back From the Grave, featuring a new lineup that included Tommy McLoughlin on lead vocals and Michael Rummans on guitar.
