L.Stadt, a Polish rock band from Łódź, was founded in 2003 by vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Łukasz Lach and drummer Radek Bolewski. The group gained early traction performing at festivals like Camerimage Festival and Class'EuRock Festival. Their breakthrough came in 2007 with a win at the OFF-scena contest, leading to a performance at Off Festival. The band's debut album, L.Stadt, was released on February 29, 2008, through EMI. Notable songs included "Gore" and "Londyn", which charted at several radio stations and were nominated for Best Rock Hit of Year 2009 at the Eska Music Awards. L.Stadt performed extensively, including at PKO BP London Live at Wembley Arena and Open'er Festival. Their second album, EL.P, was released on December 6, 2010, through Mystic Production. The band also performed at major festivals like SXSW in the U.S.
