Igor Iov is a 26-year-old Swiss artist whose music is a product of his diverse cultural and linguistic background. Growing up in a melting pot of influences, Igor developed a passion for music that draws inspiration from Switzerland's rich heritage of multilingualism and multiculturalism. Guided by a dual approach to music that blends both mainstream and experimental styles, Igor has built a reputation for his ability to unite audiences with his electrifying live performances.
Igor started his career in bars and concert halls in the French-speaking part of Switzerland before becoming known throughout the country thanks to his participation in The Voice of Switzerland in 2020. His bilingual performances and powerful voice impressed the audience, earning him a spot in the battles.
In 2021, Igor released his first EP titled "Hoping that the Sun comes up", which attracted the attention of the Swiss national radio stations with the tracks "Morning Sun" and "Stumble" being broadcasted throughout the country.
Igor Iov produces his music independently and works in collaboration with artists with multinational backgrounds. With the single "Et puis après" (And then after) in a duet with the singer Skyler Wind, he reached an international audience in the middle of a pandemic and became more and more known on the Quebec, Belgian and French radios (more than 40 international radios and +360000 streams on Spotify!).
In 2023, Igor Iov toured South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, an experience that deeply affected him. He is about to release new French songs that address our world's insecurities and the disenchantment of today's youth.
