Multidisciplinary singer, after university training in classical music, Émilie veered towards contemporary music. After a decade in this field, Émilie collaborated with director Brigitte Haentjens in three major productions.
With Joseph Marchand, an accomplished guitarist (Ariane Moffatt, Pierre Lapointe, Safia Nolin, etc.), the musical project FORÊT was born (nominated twice at ADISQ and GAMIQ in 2013).
As the years passed and filled up, she directed numerous shows for artists like Klô Pelgag, Paul Piché, the late Karim Ouellet, Vallières, Elisapie, Alexandre Tharaud at the Philharmonie de Paris, tributes to Richard Desjardins and Lhasa, to name a few. She curated the artistic programming for the Fête Nationale in Laval (2015-2020), taught at the École de la chanson de Granby, championed the fruitful project "Une chanson à l’école" for Journées de la culture, and served as artistic director for Vue sur la relève and the television show Belle et Bum.
Throughout her career, she sang in various professional choirs and lent her voice to different projects, including those of Pierre Lapointe, Philippe B, Karkwa, and Émile Proulx-Cloutier.
The singer-songwriter is currently preparing for the release of her debut solo album under the Simone Records label. Her album "Mea Silva," co-produced with Mathieu Charbonneau, is set to be released in early February 2024.
