Jérôme Badini, born in 1970, is a French saxophonist and composer known for his unique style of electro-jazz. The son of Gérard Badini, a saxophonist and bandleader who worked with Duke Ellington and Stan Getz. He developed his own sound, dubbed "électro-sax," characterized by powerful tones and hypnotic motifs. His career began with the release of Fantasy in 2001. Notable collaborations include working with DJ-producers Little Louie Vega and Derrick May, as well as composing "Trindade" for the compilation Trip Do Brasil in 2001. He released the album Foreground in 2003. In 2004, he released his album 'Round the Clock, which featured Super Bad, a tenor saxophone superhero. In 2006, he collaborated with his father's orchestra to produce Scriabin's Groove, an album that received multiple awards. Since 2010, Badini has been a producer at Radio France, hosting the show Les légendes du jazz on France Musique.
