I fly in the waves of my music
The first sound is crying, and after that, if we get the rhythm, it becomes music...
My first instrument was a synthesizer, DX100 from Yamaha, bought from Moacir Moreno, a great influence on my search for acoustic and the electronic sound, the first person I knew that was really into researching computer music and how it had the potential to boost live performance, we made together with a Computer Music Hall where 2 musicians played acpmáined by computers and synthesizers in 1987 in the second Computer Trade Show in Brazil, called Fenasoft.
From there I started a project called Healing Music and begun to produce instrumental music influenced by Steven Halpern, Mike Rowland, Constance Demby, Steve Roach.
Despite my instrumental and multimedia act, the gothic pop and rock were part of my heritage and I composed a lot of music with lyrics (but rarely played it) in a partnership with Laureant Deville in the duo Assorted Images and the band Sigilo as the keyboardist with George, Marcelo, Maria Clara, and Luciana Seabra.
From that time came the music Caroline, recorded solely with a synthesizer in a ping-pong with k7 tapes (it is available in SoundCloud as a remembrance), the music had a great reception on Dark and Gothic Clubs and it was the main attraction in my first solo gig with the synths (dx 100, poly 800) and sequencers (JX3p Roland in basslines) and electronic drums (Boss DR55 analog drum machine), to sing a Shure microphone with a digital delay and chorus pedal from Boss.
In the 90´s I stayed more in other gigs and launching instrumental albums, they came marriage, sons, work, work, work.... and music on the side...
I confess always liked the backspace of music, to work producing and playing in a way that could make a “fell” of embrace with the sounds, so the studio was my favorite and I recorded much more than live performances.
So at the beginning of the XXI century, I decided to work on everything I had write and draft as demos in my life and assumed that the name would be Assorted Colors.
