Neosoulpop in German, English and French. New album coming 2022
Born and raised in North Eastern Germany, a region with not a lot to offer to a creative girl with the urge to see the world, Mareeya left her hometown as soon as she finished high school and has been on the move quite a bit ever since. Her thirst for travels and music, her fascination for foreign countries and her love for languages pushed her to live in many different places such as France, Washington, DC, Johannesburg, Dakar or Montréal before she returned to Germany to make herself a home in the Southern city of Stuttgart, home to Mercedes and Porsche cars. This is also where her career started to take off and she made herself a name as a live musician, writing in German, English and French, composing music that combines elements of soul, RnB, jazz and pop.
