Oxes, an American instrumental rock band from Baltimore, formed in 1999. The group's early releases included a split EP with "Big'n" and the album OXES on Monitor Records. In 2002, they released their debut full-length album OXXXES, which showcased their energetic and dynamic sound. Notable performances include their appearance at the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas festival in Minehead, England, in December 2011. The band is also known for their involvement with "The Baltimore Rowdy Collective," staging practical jokes and creating confrontational racket in public places. Throughout their career, Oxes released several EPs including Bile Stbudy, Orange Jewelryist, and Crunchy Zest.
