Veronica Pomares Haugerød AKA Veronica Pomarez, Born September 13th, 1991 in Fredrikstad, Norway. Her mother is from the Philippines and her father from Norway. Veronica Pomarez started singing with karaoke when she was 8 years old. Later on when she was 12 years old she started singing again at school, and it wasn't till then she got noticed by her music teacher. He said; Her voice reminded a little bit by "Tracy Chapman". In 3 years a row, her music teacher insisted her to sing on every school graduation. When she was 13 she started in a choir, "Toneklang" (Toneclash) for 4 years. In Toneclash Veronica got several Solo parts, Performed with Idol Norway and ++shows. While she was singing Veronica also played handball for 8 years and dancing in 2 years. In 2009 she audition for West Side Story, youth musical theatre in Fredrikstad. After that when she was 17, Veronica moved to Stavanger by herself to apprentice as a chef, and ended all her singing and performing. Struggeling to find herself like every other teenager, she moved back to her hometown, Fredrikstad. Then she started in an other apprentice job. A few years later with working, she knew that this wasn't her road to climb. In 2011- 2013 she got the passion for music again. Veronica Pomarez is out with a new single "Valerie". And she is working with her first album "Summer Heart" that will be realeased January 30th, 2015.
