Pierrick Pédron is one of the best alto saxophonists of French jazz, he is also a talented composer with a very open musical universe. In perpetual movement, he is never where you expect him to be, often changing musical direction, but always keeping his focus on innovation, instrumental rigor and the pleasure of playing to make his music heard by as many people as possible. He has been a must since 2001, when he made his first recording as a leader and designed the "Reference" alto saxophone for the Selmer company. In the spring of 2021, he will release his 10th album as a leader, with once again, a new and exciting unexpected turn.
